Alan Conroy LL.B., Dip.L.P., N.P. - Senior Partner/Director

Alan graduated from the University of Strathclyde in 1982 and began in practice the following year. 

 

He now holds over 35 years experience in private client work, including the fields of House Sales and Purchases, Wills, Estate Work and Powers of Attorney. He has a substantial amount of expertise within these areas which is invaluable in providing straightforward advice in what can be stressful situations for clients.

 

Alan has lived in the southside of Glasgow all of his life and is well known locally through his connections with clients, Solicitors and Estate Agents. In his leisure time, he enjoys playing tennis and golf, both of which he has done since he was young. 

Elizabeth Grant LL.B., Dip.L.P. - Solicitor

Liz studied at the University of Strathclyde with Alan and also graduated from University in 1982. She commenced practice in 1983 and joined the firm in 1999. She specialises in Residential Conveyancing within the office, with a distinct focus on purchase transactions. Her extensive legal knowledge is invaluable to the Firm.

Liz likes to spend her spare time reading and gardening.

Diane Robertson - Finance Controller

Diane has been with the Firm since the opening of our Shawlands office in 1998 and engages in negotiations on behalf of clients with other Solicitors and Estate Agents in respect of pre-purchase discussions. She is usually the first port of call when a client is looking to purchase a property and applies her understanding of local markets to advise accordingly. In addition, she is SOLAS qualified and deals with and controls the formal accounting for the Firm. 

Outside the office, Diane enjoys travelling whenever she can. She regularly plays tennis as well as going out with friends.  

Claire Higgins - Legal Secretary

Claire joined the firm straight from College in 2006 and has vast experience in the areas of law which we cover. Her wealth of knowledge within all types of transactions is crucial to the day-to-day running of the firm.

Claire likes to spend her free time socialising with family and friends.
